Welcome to our School (Croeso i'n Ysgol)
Welcome to Ysgol Maes Hyfryd based in Flintshire, North Wales where you will find a dedicated team of staff and governors strongly committed to making a high quality specialist provision catering for pupils with a wide range of severe and complex needs.
This is a very happy, vibrant school where all children will be given the opportunity of learning in a caring, stimulating environment.
As a team of staff and governors we are committed to providing for all of our children an education of the highest possible quality whilst also catering for varied individual needs where we build on skills needed for their future place in society. In order to provide the pupils with these opportunities we invest a great deal of time and positive commitment into the curriculum development and training, pupil inspired specialist resources and raising standards.
High quality care, education and guidance is paramount to all we do and as a result everyone thrives due to a dedicated, caring and specialist staff team. As a school we will nurture and foster the talents and interests of all pupils.
Like you as parents, we want your child to be happy and safe and as a school we work very closely with parents and with the community. We strongly believe a good relationship between school and home builds children confidence, aids their learning and helps them to fulfil their potential in all areas.
As a result of working in partnership with a range of professionals we receive great support and pride ourselves on the great working relationships we have with such people in order to meet the needs of children and their families.
We are well resourced within our school which continues to expand in all areas of the school and its premises.
