Years 7-11
- The wearing of uniform in years 7 -11 is compulsory.
- The uniform consists of:
- Dark grey/black skirt or trousers
- Marl grey polo shirt with school logo
- Dark purple sweatshirt/ cardigan with school logo
- Black shoes or trainers
- Dark outer coat
Years 12-14
The wearing of school uniform is not compulsory, however 6th form pupils will be asked to maintain a tidy and smart appearance at all times.
A 6th form grey sweatshirt & a purple polo shirt with the school logo is available if desired, but it is not compulsory.
- The wearing of the following will not be allowed:
- Worn out jeans/ jazzy shorts
- Low cut / cropped tops
- Bright flashy colours
- Logo-emblazoned tops.
YMH expects a high standard of personal appearance at all times from all pupils.
P.E. Uniform
PE clothing and footwear is essential for all pupils to be able to participate in physical activity
- Plain black shorts
- Plain black shorts/ short( skirt with built-in shorts)
- Plain black jogging pants
- White polo/t-shirt with logo
- Trainers/ Football boots
P.E. is compulsory for all pupils unless they are excused for medical reasons.
A letter to the class teacher is needed to excuse your child from taking part in PE.
Keeping fit and healthy is important for all our students and there is a full and varied calendar of events throughout the year including: hula hooping, boccia, basketball, cheerleading, football, gymnastics etc to motivate the pupils.
